Legal Notice

Claims have been submitted to the HPD in relation to the properties listed below.  If you are not the Claimant, but you believe that your rights may be affected by one of these claims, you are hereby invited to participate in the case.

If you do not respond within 30 days of publication of this list, the HPD may make a decision which affects your rights without giving you further notice thereof.  However, if you only become aware of this notice after the 30 day period has expired and wish to participate in the case, you are advised to contact the HPD without further delay.

If you intend to participate in the process, you must inform the HPD in writing.  Because of the confidential nature of proceedings, the HPD cannot discuss your claim with anyone who is not formally a party to the proceedings.  Therefore, the HPD must receive your request in writing and cannot discuss the claim with you in person or over the telephone pending the receipt of your letter.  Please include the following with your letter:

1) the address of the property and the claim number as it appears on this list;
2) a copy of your personal identification card;
3) your address, telphone number, and e-mail address; and
4) copies of any documentation which supports your statement.
